Call for Papers: WSI-Mitteilungen (Deadline:Ongoing)

The German journal WSI-Mitteilungen is a monthly journal aimed at the academic and business communities, trade unionists, and policymakers (http://www.wsi-mitteilungen.de). The journal is published by the Economic and Social Science Institute of the Hans-Böckler Foundation. Its articles and essarys focus primarily on issues related to work, economy, and policy both in the US and Europe. The journal is published in German with an occasional English printing.

The journal encourages you to submit your essays, policy briefs and papers, and articles to WSI-Mitteilungen.

You may submit them in English and they will be translated. Like most academic journals, WSI-Mitteilungen accepts original research papers for double-blind review, but because the journal seeks to engage multiple audiences, it also publishes a variety of pieces that may have been already published elsewhere. For example, essays discussing findings from empirical analyses about current work, economic, or policy issues (max. 35,000 characters), current and critical commentary or analysis of business or trade union issues (max. 18,000 characters), or essays/editorials about political or economic controversies (max 11,000 characters) are all welcome. This is an excellent opportunity to get your work in front of a European, primarily German audience, at relatively low cost to you.  The editors speak English, are easy to work with, and very interested in your work. The formal requirements for all contributions can be found at: http://www.boeckler.de/173_84253.html.

Please send your papers or essays to Dr. Gudrun Linne (chief editor), WSI-Mitteilungen, Hans-Böckler Foundation, Hans-Böckler Strasse 39, 40476 Düsseldorf, Germany. EMAIL: gudrun-linne@boeckler.de.
