LERA/ASSA/AEA Meeting - January 3-5, 2014 (Philadelphia)

"Growing Good Jobs and Connecting Workers to Them:
Challenges and Opportunities for Theory and Action"

The 2014 ASSA/AEA (American Economics Association) Annual Meeting will be held in Philadelphia, PA, January 3-5, 2014; LERA has organized 27 sessions on the program, plus a plenary session and welcome reception on the opening night.

Registration and hotel accommodations will be addressed online at the ASSA/AEA website, and they will open registration the September 11, 2013. The most up-to-date information about registration and housing can always be found at the ASSA/AEA Annual Meeting Webpage, which you can find here: http://www.aeaweb.org/Annual_Meeting/index.php.

Basic steps to attend conference - Beginning September 11th, 2013


1. Register - https://conf.aeaweb.org/
Regular earlybird registration is $60 before December 3, and be sure to mark "LERA" on your registration form.  Note: you must register before you will be able to take advantage of the deeply discounted hotel room rates (of about $99 per night). LERA sessions will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, which is also the ASSA headquarters hotel. You can pick up your meeting registration materials at the ASSA/AEA registration desk in the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

2. Reserve your hotel room (if needed) - http://registration3.experientevent.com/ShowALL131/Default.aspx
As soon as you register, you will receive an email from assa@vanderbilt.edu that will contain a 5-digit housing code. Once you receive this code, proceed to the housing form listed here and reserve your room. The LERA hotel is the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, which is also the ASSA headquarters hotel.
