Organizational Membership Benefits
Recognition
Organizational members are recognized for their support of the LERA and its mission online, in LERA publications, and at LERA meetings and conferences.
Organizational members may network with LERA Industry Councils, organized along industry lines, or charter a new Council. You may also be active in LERA Interest Sections, which are germaine to particular professions within the field.
On-line Outreach and Involvement
Organizational members have access to a number of LERA ListServs to reach out to other practitioners and academics in the field as well as receive information on LERA activities and resources. Also, our organizational members may visit our LERA Commons blogsite and keep tabs on the latest research and current trends in the industry and even add their own commentary to on-going discussions.
Meetings
LERA organizational members receive advance information and discounts on registration fees to LERA annual meetings, national policy forums, and regional and chapter conferences around the country.
Publications
Organizational members receive a wealth of information and insight into the field of industrial relations and human resources, including subscriptions to all of our publications, and access to our LERA "Online Members-only Library" which contains current publications and archives of past editions and articles.
- Annual Research Volume – The 2009 research volume is: Human Rights in Labor and Employment Relations .
- Perspectives on Work – The highly acclaimed biannual magazine of the LERA features timely articles on issues in the world of work. Online archives available back to 2001.
- Annual Meeting Proceedings – Papers presented at LERA Annual Meetings are published in print and online to enable all LERA members to share information from current research and ongoing policy debates. Online archives available back to 1997.
- Newsletters – Quarterly online newsletters keep organizational members up to date on the calendar of events, job announcements, calls for papers, LERA chapter activities, and related meetings. Online archives available back to 2001.
- The LERA Membership Directory is published online and in print. The online version is available to members only and is updated daily.
- Plus online Chapter Profiles for over 50 LERA Chapters and listings of IR & HR Degree Programs in the U.S., Canada, and Australia
