Rutgers Labor Studies Honored

Rutgers Labor Studies Honored: On June 12, the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations was presented with a commemorative plaque by the New Jersey State American Federation of Labor and the Congress of Industrial Organizations during its constitutional convention at Bally's Atlantic City. The plaque was given to the school in honor of the 50th anniversary of the New Jersey AFL-CIO merger. LERA member Adrienne Eaton (right in group photo), professor and chair of the school's labor studies and employment relations department, accepted the plaque. She said the history of labor program's and the school's Labor Education Center are entwined with the AFL-CIO.
