The 100-member chapter meets nine times a year for lunch or dinner at the Como Inn, September through May, on dates determined by speaker availability. Recent events have included Jill Foucré, Chief Operating Officer, United Healthcare in Illinois; Dennis P. Walsh, Member of the National Labor Relations Board; and a Tour of the Argonne National Laboratory.

Dues are $40 for regular members, $40 for students (includes one free registration for each LERA event for calendar year), and $200 for organizations (includes 4 individual memberships).
